What does wellness mean to you?

Often we’re conditioned to believe that it has to do with a number on a scale, or how many supplements you’re taking.

I believe that true wellness begins with gratitude and presence. It is a continual practice of cultivating your inner garden, both the one in your mind as well as in the microbiome of your gut. Wellness is feeling content and comfortable in your body and having the energy and drive to do what makes your heart sing. And when we realize that all beings are interconnected on this Earth home, it becomes clear that our wellbeing is tied up with that of all creation. Thus if we truly want to live in a happier healthier world, we must begin with ourselves. Living in vibrance and joy contributes to the wellbeing of the whole earth!

I’ve journeyed through 20 years of the SAD (Standard American Diet) and the consequent years of chronic illness and autoimmune disease, only to find that my problems were alarmingly common in this very out of balance society.

I’ve transformed my health and life through eating whole plant-based foods, discovering my food intolerances, finding movement and mindfulness practices that resonate with me, and changing my perspectives on life. I am honored to offer the nuggets of wisdom I’ve gathered in my journey to assist you on yours!
